Peter Yarrow Concert

and Dinner

We had a great time at the Peter Yarrow concert and earlier dinner.

He had many stories to tell us about his time with Paul and Mary.

Held at “The Kate”  - Katharine Hephurn’s theater in Old Saybrook, CT

Mary listens as Bob addresses his fellow Cornell Alumni at the Coastal Connecticut Cornell Club dinner.

This dinner & concert were part of the 150th anniversary of the founding Charter of IV League Cornell University in 1865.

The warm up act of Mustard’s Retreat was joined by Peter on the right.

He was terrific!

We were singing along the whole time, making it my favorite concert ever, because of how he invited us to be part of it, and not just listen.

At intermission, Caren purchased a pop up book on Puff the Magic Dragon for her grandson Ollie.

For Puff, Peter invited younger audience members onto the stage to perform with him.

He was delighted that 8 year old Ada knew all the words to Puff.

At 76, he played from 8:30 am until 11:15 pm with one intermission, signing autographs in the lobby.

His fellow Cornellian alum are so proud of this member of the class of ‘59 !
