Mets Game

Lou and I arrived early to watch batting practice.

Thanks for getting these nice seats as a present for your dad Chris Tom and Dan.

There's the real David Wright, whose tee shirt I wore.

Remember the picture of Jose Reyes I took in Jupiter Florida last year?  Here he is again.

Manager Willie Randolph is terrific.

We first had dinner in the Diamond Club.

That's the new CitiField under construction to the north of Shea Stadium.

I put the ol camera in front of us.

Pete Martin, I mean Pedro Martinez continued to have more strikeouts than innings pitched - over 3000.

But he could not win a game where the Mets were shut out.

And the scoreboard showed Philly beating Atlanta.

Lou cracked up everyone around us by yelling :

"I refuse to root for Atlanta, but they need to beat the Phillies tonight!"

And this fellow Albert Pujols was great again.  I think this is just before his double.

That's ex Met first baseman and broadcaster Keith Hernandez under the Sports New York banner.

Mr. Met shoots tee shirts up toward us.

Catcher Paul LoDuca and the fans behind him.
