Best E-mails of the Week 3/18/01

Here are the best emails I received this week:

Jim's Earth Lights at Night from the Space Station and a View of All Continents:

You can see from the density of lights at night that Canada's population
is almost exclusively along the U.S. border.
Moving east to Europe, there is a high density of lights. Check out the
development of Israel compared to the rest of the Arab countries and note
the Nile River.
Moving east, note the Trans Siberian Rail Route, the striking difference
between North and South Korea, and the Outback of Australia.
Isn't this amazing????

Update on Mary's Goddaughter Gretchen expecting the first baby of the next generation:
Greetings to all,
I want to pass on to you what the doctor told Gretchen today. If Gretchen doesn't deliver naturally by next Wednesday, he is going to induce at midnight. That means we'll have a bouncing baby grandson on Thursday! Please keep us all in your prayers and we'll send you the great news as soon as he arrives!
