Candid shots - Getting ready to open presents. (Dad is seated beneath my camera.)

The Compton Encyclopedias that Mom won on Jeopardy on the right above Mary and Sherry.

Katie dished out the presents as Santa.

Jim Lou Tom at the wall unit where the Lionel trains used to be set up each Christmas.

This year's game.

Mom prepares the basket with letters to choose.

Greg chooses an envelope with a cash prize inside.

Bob counts his loot from Grandma and Grandpa.  Everyone always enjoys this tradition!

These were presents I made for 15  family members who lived with the Big Tree before it was cut.

Jim, Dad and I cut, and Jim routered picture frame beds within each frame.

Here they are in production ready to receive their frames.  More photos soon.

Later in the week and nearby,

The new town hall opened, and employees pose for a picture.

This is the renovated meeting room at the new town hall

Dad's building company (with Lou helping) originally built it as an addition around 1980.

The town attorney told me they are adding a screen that drops from the ceiling

to accommodate engineering power point presentations.

He said they decided they needed it after seeing my computerized

presentation last month for the planning board at the old meeting hall.

So old world elegance meets high tech at this beautiful public facility.

Greetings, Folks !

Moments ago I had a call from Milano.   Our
cousin Titina and her husband, Mario, send
good wishes for a Happy New Year.  She reports
they are joyous about the possible arrival of a
      second grandchild.

Just before Christmas I received a call from Torino
Our cousin, Giuseppe and Dolcizia sent holiday
wishes, and asked me to convey them to the family.

A holiday message has arrived from our cousin, Antonio.
He too, sends good wishes to all.

E-mails have come from the family of Giovanni and
      Maria Grazia  with holiday wishes.

Our cousin Carmine  sent a  message from
      Mont'Orso.

Earlier I had received a call from our cousin Vincenzo.
I also spoke to our "Zia Maria," now rapidly approaching
her 90th birthday on January 6th.  They sent holiday
      wishes to everyone.

      Prayers and Love,  Rose
