Is there any time better than the weeks leading up to Christmas?
Here is the church across the street from us at the start of Handel's Messiah last night.
And when writing cards, don't forget the Troops.
XEROX IS
DOING SOMETHING COOL
If you go to this web site,
www.LetsSayThanks.com
you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it
will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out
who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
I took a few pics of the blizzard we are having today. We had about 8 inches so our total for the winter is already nearly 20 inches! Part of Mpls may get up to 16 inches--possibly where Jake lives. It may be a long winter! Dan and Liz
Yes, Liz and Dan, Mpls/St Paul is reporting this storm, along with the record snowfall this early, as setting "An all Time Record" in the Twin Cities for this early stage of late fall. ...Bro Ray
But here Mary and I simply have cold rain today, as seen from my window.
And on the topic of ice, thanks Tom and Ann for hosting me for a few overnights while I attended a conference in Washington D.C.
Glad you had such a nice time at the Nationals Hockey Team game just before I arrived.
Congrats Ann to your former student Zack Bogosian, now a superstar with the Atlanta Thrashers. You were sitting pretty close to get that shot!
Tom, here's something you see every day, but filmed when Dad was less than a year old, and Mom wasn't yet born.
Mom,
You still outdid me watching Jeopardy together last week,
but I did get 11 of these right. Thanks for the genes!
