Liz Smith seems to recommend the show we saw this week:

"If this wonderfully produced and acted "Wonderful Town," with its wonderful orchestra under Rob Fisher, isn't the biggest, hottest, most commercial and, yes, wonderfully entertaining hit of the season, then I give up."   Donna Murphy (right) was sensational!

Here is Kelly reading the program at that show.

Here she is at Thanksgiving dinner with us.

I'm trying to keep up with my eBay bidding this week.  My son Raf has put last year's Christmas present up for grabs.  I know he is selling that camera for a fraction of what it is worth, because I remember what I paid for it.

I can use a good camera myself, so I am bidding against others for it.  I suspect that now that he knows I am bidding, he will pull the usual eBay trick, and bid up the price himself as a secret bidder.

I might make him run the price up so that no one else will have our camera, and he will just keep it.

Or, if  do win it, I have this year's Christmas present for him, familiar as it might be. And I will be happy knowing that this year I paid less than half what I paid for his present last year.

Or maybe I should get him something he really can use??

Like a digital camera.

Also, Raf says it wasn't last year's present, it was from a few years ago.

and I believe he is trying to raise money for my present, sort of like a modern "Gift of the Maji"

Pete

PS I lost the camera by $1.00,

but I did win a bid on an important Aaron Burr memento. Thanks for turning me on to eBay Raf!
