i can distinctly remember that song on my clock radio, many mornings

when i lived in fairport over 30 years ago... excellent music, lyrics

and such a great Haunting quality,,, can't say i ever heard of or read about the Actual sinking of that vessel even though it was right here on the great lakes..

I've played Ed Fitz over and over.

I was talking to Allie on the phone that night.

She had flown up from Disney World via Detroit to RI.

So we noted the maritime cathedral is there.

And the bells had just rung 29 times, once for each sailor.

4th grade -I asked what she knew about the Great Lakes.

Near Canada?

I said Yes very good.

We went through HOMES.

All that remains is the faces and the names of the wives and the sons and the daughters

is riveting

chucks work had a pumpkin carving contest. chuck put this one together to look like a friend of his at the city that retired on 10/31. guy has a mohawk. everyone said the pumpkin looked like him. chuck won $75.00. wow.
