From an email responding to an inquiry about our weather.

We had 15" of snow.
No power when we returned Monday after dark, so we bundled up and slept in the cold basement, which was the warmest part of the house.
Mary decided to visit her dad early for the holidays, and flew out yesterday....
When I returned from the airport Tuesday afternoon, dropping Mary off for MN, I went to start the generator, but the power came on just then.
Internet and phone later at night. Good thing because temp dropped to 25 last night, making it tough on those who still had no heat. CT is still a majority 53% out of power.
Cell phones erratic, but stable this morning.
So I am set to teach my geo course tomorrow until Saturday, when I will meet Mary at the airport to return home.
... it was a great event in Nashville that Mary really enjoyed too.
I'll try to post some pictures today now that the computer is on line again.
Ciao!
