Best E-mails of the Week    10/13/02

I just read Lisa Beamer's NYTimes best seller Let's Roll about flight 93 crashing in Pennsylvania.

This site (with music) ends with her husband Todd's theme.

Subject: Fw: Blonde Joke...

My wife, who is blonde, came running up to me in the driveway, the
other day, just jumping for joy! She said, "Honey, I have some really great
news for you!"

I said, "Great. Tell me what you're so happy about."

She stopped jumping up and down, when she told me that she was
pregnant! I was ecstatic! We had been trying for a while, so I grabbed
her and kissed her on the lips and told her, "That's great! I couldn't be
happier!"

Then, she said "Oh, honey. There's more." I asked, "What do you mean
'more'?"

She said, "Well, we are not having just one baby. We are going to have
TWINS!"

Amazed at how she could know so soon after getting pregnant, I asked
her how she knew.

She said, "Well, that was the easy part. I went to Wal-Mart and bought
the twin-pack home pregnancy test kit and both tests came out positive!

Following up on the smiley gram from last week that sent emails to

people from my email address, I asked a pro if there is a way to

find this hacker:

Pete,
The smileygram.com is on Fastserve Networks. The registrant's location is
Berkeley, CA. The person was smart and registered it to a "Company" and not
themselves. The return address of the e-mail is registered to a company
called MX
xxx.net in LA. It's also on Fastserve Networks. The whole network
did not exist until 3 months ago and expires July next year. The number they
give for contact in the who is I ran on smileygram.com is 1-650-389-
xxxx.
That number is unlisted in the switchboard. I think the domain was
registered with Dotster (www.dotster.com) so they may know more.
Unfortunately, anything beyond this info I cannot get legally.  Good Luck.

Dear Dotster:

"One of your customers is a hacker who hit us with a virus.

Smiley grams seemed to be helping a friend I know,

and instead resulted in my sending out 5 emails that seem to come from me.

It is a pyramid problem that you must stop

.
Here is what my other friend says:  (See above)
:
Please contact me that you cancelled these criminals.

Pictures below are from a beach in Maryland.  Isn't the artwork awesome?

The man creates new ones each day, as the ocean washes away his work every day.
