Who thought a month ago that Afghanistan would be so center stage?
Here's a tribute site called "Can't cry hard enough". Please turn your sound on.

I think this web site shows how we have had that sad feeling you feel after a funeral, that just goes on and on.

Where is your God today?
Our youngest daughter flies for US Airways and lost two friends on the planes that were crashed. She sent this to Dolores and me. We would like to share it with you. Stephen and Dolores Wilkins
Dear Family and Friends,
I had a very dear friend question my faith in God right after the terrorist attack on America. Her question was simply put, "Where is your God today?" She was very hurt, as all Americans were, so I tried not to react defensively. I believe I have the answer. I know where my God was the morning of September 11, 2001! ...........He was very busy. First of all, he was trying to discourage anyone from taking this flight. Those four flights together held over 1000 passengers and there was only 266 aboard. He was on 4 commercial flights giving terrified passengers the ability to stay calm. Not one of the family members who was called by a loved one on one of the high-jacked planes said that passengers were screaming in the background. On one of the flights he was giving strength to passengers to overtake the highjackers.
He was busy trying to create obstacles for employees at the World Trade Center. After all only around 20,000 were at the towers when the first jet hit. Since the buildings hold over 50,000 workers, this was a miracle in itself. How many of the people who were employed
at the WTC told the media that they were late for work or they had traffic delays?
He was holding up two 110 story buildings so that 2/3 of the workers
could get out. I was so amazed that the top of the towers didn't topple when the jets impacted. Although this is without a doubt the worst
thing I have seen in my life, I can see God's miracles in every bit of it.

A novel solution to a difficult problem
The problem is what do you do with Osama and his cohorts once they are found? Kill them - they become martyrs...
Don't kill them - they become heros to the extremists ....
Solution:
Capture them alive, convict them of their crimes and sentence them to
their punishment. What punishment you ask?
Why a full blown sex change of course!
And then send them back to Afghanistan to live out the rest of their lives
as women under the Taliban government....
Works for me!

Subject: 3 wishes
Three guys, a Canadian, Osama bin Ladin and Uncle Sam are out walking together one day. They come across a lantern and a Genie pops out of it. "I will give each of you each one wish, that's three wishes total," says the Genie. The Canadian says, "I am a farmer, my dad was a farmer, and my son will also farm. I want the land to be forever fertile in Canada."
With a blink of the Genie's eye, 'POOF' the land in Canada was forever made fertile for farming.
Osama bin Ladin was amazed, so he said, "I want a wall around
Afganistan, so that no infidels, Jews or Americans can come into
our precious state."
Again, with a blink of the Genie's eye, 'POOF' there was a huge wall
around Afganistan.
"Uncle Sam" (A former civil engineer), asks, "I'm very curious. Please
tell me more about this wall." The Genie explains, "Well, it's about
15,000 feet high, 500 feet thick and completely surrounds the country;
nothing can get in or out---virtually impenetrable."
"UncleSam" says, "Fill it with water."

I think we are filling it with Tomahawk missles instead.
