hello  family  and  friends

Happy  Autumn.
here  is  a  video  clip   my  old  time  pal  , "Bandstand"  sent.
It is  a  lesson  in  how  to  NOT....  do  parasailing.
I  cannot  believe  we  screwed around  with   this  stuff  back  in  the  70's  towing  first  a  stato-star,  and  then  a strato  cloud
behind  boats......   i  made   3  flights,  myself,   good  thing  that  water  is  'softer'  than  the  ground!!!!.  cause  i  'crashed'
on  my  last   effort..that  stunt  left  me  with  a  purple  buise,  the  size  and  shape  of  a football,,!!!!!!  on  the  back  of  my  right  thigh  !!!!!At  least  we  were  smart  enough  NOT  to  do  this  on  Land!!!!!!!!!!
the  video  is  fun......  as  long  as  you  are  not  the  "star"  of  the  show....
let's  be  careful  out  there  !!!   jimmy     : - )

Hi friends...all of you!
I hope this year is treating you all well...I am writing from San Diego with
some 'kinda exciting' news...this next Tuesday, October 3rd at 9pm ET/PT on
the CW (channel 5 here) I am going to be on the Season 3 premiere of
"Veronica Mars."  It is my TV debut, and it's not huge, but I sit behind
Kristen Bell and have, get this, 2 glorious lines!  I am at the beginning of
the episode, and am in the background again about 30 minutes later.  It is
what it is, but it's excting and I wanted to share it with you.  In fact,
after looking up the time it is playing, I stumbled upon a website that is
showing the season premiere online right now: http://tv.msn.com/tv/tvbuzz.

I also recently put together a website, which has
all my theatre updates and things like that.  I still am not nifty enough to
have a myspace account, but I do have this for now:)  I know I have not
spoken with some of you receiving this in some time...I hope wherever you
are you are well, I hope that amidst everything crazy going on right now,
that you all may be living somewhere you love with friends, a good job and
good eats.  I would love to hear from any of you anytime.

In the meantime, have a wonderful weekend,
Love,
Kristen

Anita and Brad at the Alamo, saying goodbye to Texas.

Nice photo Gerry.

This week, we installed five of Frank's American Kestrel falcon houses.

Hi,
Here are a couple of pictures of a Kestrel in front of our cottage in Wellfleet.

They are  a small falcon  about 8-10 " long but very colorful and very good hunters
of mice and moles.
              E&A

A few weeks ago, I told you how thick the invasive plants were on our job.

Here we are trying to dig test holes.

I came upon wild marijuana plants growing in the woods.

I called Alan from his excavator, and he counted 22 four foot high budding pot plants in the secret garden.

I cell phoned 911, and the state trooper came by to investigate.

We buried someone's stash who should have stayed out of those thorny fields in the first place.

But next year, maybe some of the seedlings will pop up out of the 3' deep ground?

Next time I will be sure to just burn it all  :)

Pete

PS My job is to make people happy.

What's your job?
