Remember, no one gets Defriended on Best emails!

This accident occurred north of Deer Lodge on I-90.  The driver was appx 22 year old guy heading east to College.  He had left central Washington early in the morning.  He fell asleep at the wheel and drifted off the shoulder hitting the end of the section of guard rail.

The guard rail came through the right headlight, engine compartment, firewall, glove box, passenger seat, rear seat and exited out the driver’s side rear window.  That is 120 LF of guard rail that threaded through the suburban.

No passengers and the driver was not injured.

I am sharing this as a reminder to all about NOT driving when you shouldn’t be behind the wheel (drinking, texting, distracted or just plain tired).

I'm so busy with geo now.  If someone told me 4 months ago I would be working like this I would not have believed it!
Here's the ground breaking ceremony for my current job.

Unfortunately, one of the politicians actually dug into the soil with his $200 shovel.

Not being steel, it of course bent out of shape.

On Saturday night, David saw me at the country club bar, and said he was TV channel surfing that afternoon, and was surprised to hear my name mentioned as the geothermal consultant.

Here are the 8 boreholes being grouted where the TV covered ground breaking occurred.

On this job where I have installed over a kilometer of loop pipe, things have also gone well.

My client Minesh guides the core drill I set up for him.

Next week I start installing the approved loops I designed under this pond.

Mary and Pete,

Auntie Gretchen drove up to Lexington, KY this weekend to meet her nephew.  She couldn't wait any longer!

Drew is growing and changing so much.  Manfred and I can't wait to see him next weekend.

Love, Sue
