Hi

So many have sent email asking if the volcano that is erupting twenty minutes from our home in Antigua (Guatemala where Mary and I stayed last year) has been affected and how are we doing. Well, we are in Peru on the Oriental tour with 18 friends from Antigua. It appears to be a good time to be away from Antigua...BUT....all the hotels in the Antigua are full now as volcano watchers rush in to watch the events. See photos. The lava flows down the other side of the volcano, as it has for hundreds of years. Therefore there is no problem. If I knew about the eruption I could have rented the house out for a week for more than my trip to Peru plus. Oh well.
