Here are the judges and part of the audience for the "Tea for 200" fundraiser.
Mary and I tied for first place in the hat contest with the woman shown in white.
Mary pays more attention to our U.S. Congressman Chris Murphy than her award winning husband to the right. :)
The fellow to the left is movie critic Rex Reed.
Chris, as main judge gave two first prize awards this year.
One for most elegant, and one for most humorous that Mary and I won.
When I was introduced, I said "My wife tells me this hat was made in 1910."
I said, "She must have been a young girl
when she made it."
That laugh line won the contest!
