The weekend from my perspective.

A drive to beautiful upstate New York, through the Catskill Mountains.

The start of the Wedding Rehearsal with the proud Dad ready to give the bride away.

Allison and Mike practice their lines.

They've got it!

Parents John, Sue, Nancy and Jim.

Rehearsal Dinner at the Dinosaur Barbeque Grille, hosted by John and Sue.

Allison and Mike welcome us all to their wedding tomorrow.

Mary with Co-host Sue.

Saturday

Saturday afternoon.  While some went to the zoo, Pam and Fred and our immediate, enjoyed the 25.1 foot rise in the Erie Canal lock.

As we entered the first limo, most of the younger generation stayed back, letting us older folks go first.

They planned to take the second limo, which had an accident and could not transport them!
Fortunately the van at the Radisson came to the rescue, getting everyone to the wedding ceremony on time.

Bob, Greg, Emily, Sam, Tom, Allie, Jenn and Dan.

Kate, Elyse, Mary and Emily in their beautiful dresses.

Lou arrives with Sherry, Mary, Chris and Lucas.

Allison's cousins await the start of the ceremony.

Sherry and Lucas.

Lovely chamber music from this quartet.

As it begins, my Godson Jimmy escorts my Mom.

She is ready for her first grand daughter's wedding.

Next, Jim escorts Nancy.

The Groomsmen arrive.

Mike looks on as his Uncle John (Mom Sue's brother) is ready to preside.

The bridal party of Allison's maternal cousins arrives.

Everyone awaits the bride.

Jim gets ready to escort Allison.

His proud moment down center aisle.

The ceremony begins.

Joanne reads a parable.

Nancy's sister Mary Jo reads one as well.

At one point, Mike whispers "I love you" to Allison.

So many tears in the audience from this truly meaningful ceremony.

Beautiful Allison.

Mr. and Mrs.

The beaming new Father-in-Law with my Godfather Uncle John.

On to the cocktail party and reception at the Museum.

Tom, Emily and Ann.

My Godmother, Aunt Angie with the Woolly Mammoth and Mastodon.

Roger, Nancy, Aunt Marion and Ann Marie.

Nancy' brother John and I enjoy cocktails with a dinosaur!

The wonderful table setting.

Jim and Nancy arrive at the Reception.

Seems like yesterday that I was Best Man at their wedding, but it was 32 years ago.

John and Sue.

Flower Girl Hanna.

After the others, Mike and Allison strut on.

The first of many dances tonight.

What cha call "Luv".

Having the time of their lives!

Dan gives the Best Man's Toast  (as I did 32 tears ago to Triple J:  James Joseph Justin.)

The bridal party gives a great toast to A L L I S O N and M I K E.

Meanwhile, better pictures than mine were being taken. So I adjusted my flash setting as the sun set, and I apologize for the rest of the images in the dark!

The bride cuts the cake.

First part of the Father Daughter dance.

Then Jim and Allison speed it up.

To everyone's delight.

Why not fast dance?? They were great!

Mike dances with Allison's new Mom-in-Law.

We danced for hours.

Mary, Mary and Joanne loved it.

My cell phone camera and I were tired and we headed to sleep!

One of my longest Best Emails pages, for a truly great event!

Congratulations to Allison, Mike, Jim, Nancy and to all!
