Good idea?

We enjoyed the Circus Fundraiser in our town last night.

Brothers Jim and Tom enjoying their summer

Ace was interested in our geothermal work at his house this week.

I have not taught geothermal since last year, so I was happy 43 Architects and Engineers joined me in New York for their continuing education this week.

My book and slides were well received with a standing O at 4:30pm, and a nice follow up from an architect:

Thanks again for an excellent seminar yesterday.

I told them my famous joke:
Architects and Engineers are always fighting as to who should be in charge of the design of a building.

They say that if an Architect is in charge, it will probably fall down.

But if an Engineer is in charge, people will want to tear it down!

Also enjoyed being in NY with Mom, Joanne and Lou and Mary for his birthday later that night.

From an actual Email this week!

Some interesting locations around our world that most of us will never see outside of these photos. Enjoy!

The spiral staircase on the Taihang Mountains is 91 meters high.

Some photoshopping, but I could swim here!
