End First Half of 2013

Nice few days in Maine at Jim's vacation house, on the lake where he has camped all his life..

We went shopping for a new dock to replace the one shown here that came with the house he bought.

Caren and Bob stayed in the green and white beach house across the cove.

Bob showed some of the campers the fundamentals of rowing in the lodge.

Then out to the water in his shell, where the campers rowed very well.

I patrolled the far waters in Jim's kayak, where they turned around.
But I could not keep up with them in this speedy scull that Bob later lent to the camp.

On the way back, I visited Pam and Fred for dinner.  Pam made this great cream sickle cake with mandarin oranges.

Sorry about the Bruins in Chicago, but a great year for them!

And we all carved Simon the Donkey out of watermelons. Kids love their Aunt Jen and Pepe Fred.
