Did you see this video of the base ball girl catching a foul ball?

I'm enjoying reading The Peace Garden Simple Joys by Auntie Rose.

It has a nice intro by Kaarin.  I also ordered a second copy to mail to you Kansas folks!

Maybe it will be read in Ray and Roxie's new home shown here:

Mary was pleased to see her old Canada Dry Seltzer is making a classic marketing comeback with the old labeling she used 25 years ago!

Sue visited MN, here with Liz and Dad Wil.

The program I put on for our Historical Society went great this week.

Mary and computer guru Doug counted about 200 in attendance, same as the paper reported.

It was the anniversary date of when the last train came to our town 60 years ago.

I took this photo from my seat near the podium.

I introduced our state senator who spoke about today's transportation issues.

Then book author Fletcher and I showed a power point slide show of the old railroad trains and stations,

including the rebuilt station house here where we held our outdoor program in 78 degree perfect weather.

Later, with the girl scouts providing lemonade, the attendees chatted about their railroad memories.

Thanks to all who have called and emailed appreciation for the event!

And thanks Bill for suggesting it to me last fall.
