Christina and Nick's

 Minnesota Wedding

Hi Mary and Pete,
I got your email and phone message.
Sorry to have missed the celebration.  Hoping to see pictures on the next bestemailsoftheweek.
Best, John

We missed you John, and hope to see you in California soon.

Alyssa's photos will be sensational, but in the meantime, here are a few of mine documenting our wonderful week.

Christina's Mom Theresa and Nick's Mom Liz, light the ceremonial candles.

Nick and their Pastor and wedding attendants await Christina in their beautiful church.

Later, the Pastor tells them "You will love each other, because God loves you."

Husband and Wife.

Nick's brother and Best Man Ryan, married here four years ago, is to the right.

Their 92 year old grandfather Melvin and his wife Elaine.

They greet the wedding guests with Dad Dan.

On to the reception!

The couple welcome their hundreds of family and friends to the reception.

Sibs Mary, Sue, Jake and Gerald.

Chuck, Manfred, George and Larry.

Mary lit a birthday candle for her 89 year old Godfather Uncle George.

Sunday picnic at Liz and Dan's, where we were pleased to see Florence's siblings too.

Donald, Frank, Vera and Frannie.

Beyond the wedding, was the nice water ski show we saw.

Philip who drove dad Wil for years, sits near Jake, who hosted Mary and me in St. Paul for the days after the wedding.  Thanks Jake!

Very good show:

We stopped in Rochester, MN to tour the Mayo Clinic campus on the way to Wisconsin.

Lunch on the Mississippi in Gerry's LaCrosse, WI.

Nice riverboat cruise.

Overlook onto golf course and passing train.

Our Lady of Guadalupe $25 million church and shrine recently built in a remote setting.

Mary loved her week in her homeland!  Thanks to everyone we visited.

Pete
