Congrats first cousin Melissa and Paul on the birth of Justin this week!
I'm so glad my generation is still making the next generation!
And Congrats Kaarin and Todd on this week's birth of your twin daughters Ada and Casey!
How pleased we all are that everyone is so fine!
We love babies, especially when they communicate like this!

We wanted to thank all of those who have made the Community Garden possible.
It is such a treat to go there and we are really enjoying meeting all of the
fellow gardeners.
A special thanks to our hard working Fence installers, They spent many many
hours there working very hard to make it secure (and beautiful). We wish we
remembered everyone's name. Tonight we came across a large snapping turtle
trapped INSIDE the fence. It was built with such attention to detail that she
took a luxury ride out of the garden in Michael's wagon. We were wondering whose
plot she planted her eggs in...
We are sending along her picture as well as the lovely moon through our
spectacular gate.
See you at the garden

Here's my community plot the next day.
And my containerized garden at home, under construction. (My other computer desktop background picture along with the recent image of Skye on Computer One.)
I have these two dozen 5 gallon buckets I buried with one or two plants each. I only worry about watering and weeding inside them.
I use recycled erosion control fence and recycled wood chips, for a "green" garden.
Who else has two gardens?

WOW! never seen or heard of these before. |
COCONUT
CRABS
The coconut crab is a large edible land crab related to the hermit crab, and are
found in the tropical Indian and Pacific Oceans. They eat coconuts for a living!
How would you like to be on an island and come across a crab that is more than 3
feet from head to tail and weighs up to 40 pounds, with a pair of large pincers
strong enough to open coconuts! They can climb trees too, but they only eat
coconuts that have already fallen to the ground. Coconut crab meat has been
considered a local delicacy.
Coconut Crab
(Birgus latro) is the
largest terrestrial arthropod in the world. It is known for its ability to
crack coconuts with its strong pincers in order to eat the contents.
It is sometimes called the robber crab
because some coconut crabs are rumored to steal shiny items such as pots and
silverware from houses and tents.
The second photo gives you a good idea of
how large these crabs are - a coconut crab is seeking food from a black
trashcan.
Congrats Carl for getting the lead role as Nick
Arnstein in Funny Girl.
We are all looking forward to seeing it.
