Subject:  BP's effort

This link gives you some idea of how difficult a job they have to solve this problem.

5/30: But unfortunately, it doesn't work.

A blogger said it's like running your garden hose on your lawn, and trying to stop it by pushing mud into the end of  it.

Another said that if it was on land in Alaska (ANWR), far less wetlands and sea life would be impacted, and solutions would not be a mile under water.

Let's pray that it does not take more than a month (as predicted) for relief wells to contain it.

Ray and Dad Wil on vacation

The gorgeous Minnesota Rest Area Overlook at the top hill point overlooking downtown Duluth, Superior, WI., & the Lake Superior/Duluth Port/Barge Complex.  It was a picture perfect day so this Pic shows nothing compared to what we visually experienced.

To Wil and all vets, here's the North Platte Canteen video from WWII in the midwest:

Bill,
We had a nice dinner and cocktails on the deck with friends last night.

I had the country club staff surprise Mary with a platter of antipasto to commemorate

the 32nd anniversary of the original "move" with you and Jack in '78.

She loved it!
So thanks again for being there.

Today, we head to RI for the wedding of Raf's brother-in-law.
Happy Memorial Day to all your family!

Pete,

Wow!  Thirty two years, it’s hard to believe.

Thanks for sharing that moment with me.

I am always happy to hear about old times and equally memorable new times.

Please convey my regards to Mary and the rest of your family.

Have a great time at the wedding.

-Bill

Actually, to all readers,

Mary and I have really been enjoying our new routine these past few weeks.

Every night, we play one favorite song and dance to it.

It's the best 3 minutes of the day!

Why didn't we start doing this 32 years ago?

Do you and your spouse dance every day?

And at work this week, a geothermal well grouting operation as observed by Carl and Minesh.
