Visit to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens

What a perfect weather day we had!

Friends from town rode with us on the bus.

Kristen had just returned from her Miami acting gig.

All the blossoms were out in their splendor.

Just like in Amsterdam, eh Magda?

A young artist shows me her work.

There was a big plant sale going on.  We bought organic seeds.

Isn't there supposed to be a dragon head on these arches?

Azaleas that I use as a screen saver on my computer, but mine were from Augusta National Golf Course.

We gave Kristen her birthday card, as another photographer snapped her.

Too bad all classes can't be held outdoors all the time.

The older kids of course had to horse around under the sprinkler.

Here in the rock garden I show my strength in splitting that giant boulder!

Bonsai trees

Here was the best part. You could almost walk on the (coy and carp?) fish during feeding time.

Thanks Kristen for sharing your afternoon with us in Brooklyn
