The big dealer with Mom's automatic battery powered card shuffler

Earlier in the day, I enjoyed Mom's birthday cake with her, Lou, Mary, Tom, Ann, Emily and Elyse.

Some of the organizers, including Gary, who made one of the raffle prizes, a wood inset tray that took about a hundred hours of his time.

I loved the leaves pattern, so I played poker after my dealer shift was over.

First hand, I was dealt an Ace and 5 in Texas holdem with about 6 players.

When a pair of fives and an Ace appeared on the flop and next card down, the turn, I met the heavy betting of the flush guys, and won!

I cashed in my chips for raffle tickets to bet heavily for Gary's tray.

How lucky I was hours later to have my ticket number drawn and announced - to win it !  What a late, great birthday present from God!

The casino gambling night was fun until the keystone cops came in and arrested the priests,

including my next door neighbor Reverend Bevan, and our priest Father Robert.

Congratulations to CJR Auxiliary President Pam for a fabulous event, raising $67,000 for the school.
