This was the first year for the robotic team that Robert is a part of. We had 6 weeks to design and build a functional robot to compete with others from across the country and beyond in a game involving a 2' diameter ball. A kit for the bottom (drive) part was provided. Robert's team, the 'Iron Grizzlies' won the Rookie All-Stars award and is going to St. Louis for the ultimate FIRST competition. The regional competition at the old Sports Arena was kind of wild and had a rock concert atmosphere. A lot of fun!
