You heard that Italy is withdrawing its 3000 troops from Iraq.

On Saturday Night Live, they said that the Italians will have 3000 mothers open their windows,
and yell out: "Ant'ny, come home. It's dinner time!"

The bridge (or should it be called tunnel) goes under water to allow movement of ships.

In order for ships to pass, this bridge is half under the water. You drive down in the water and then come out on the other side.

Truly a marvelous piece of engineering! This bridge is between Sweden and Denmark .

Picture taken from the side of Sweden.

Now if only the Boston tunnel was as easy.

It seems that my old employers are in the news trying to put their fingers in the leak holes up there!

When we designed tunnels years ago, we didn't run so over budget and under water!

MaryAnn, who worked in our Water Resources Dept, and took a job in Boston, I hope you have avoided this!

Pete,

This is one of the most fascinating things I've seen yet!

I held my left mouse button down and enjoyed the view!

Sue

(I used my mouse from bottom to top to zoom and zoom and zooom!

Interesting young persons fantasy site)

What a nice few days I had in Rochester with Jim, Nancy, Allison and Jimmy.

If all families laughed as hard and often as they do, we would all be much happier!

The six hour drive back to get Mary at LaGuardia was made more difficult when her 11pm arrival

was delayed until 1:30 due to thunderstorms in Fla.

The roads are pretty empty at 3:30AM on a weekday!

How welcome did Allison make me feel when I stayed over on St. Patrick's Day!

What a wonderful chalk board welcome sign she gave me.

Wouldn't we all love a niece like this!!

Here's a nice web site game from Jim who loves parachuting:

And who doesn't love Daffy Duck?
