Best E-mails of the Week 03/14/04.

As I start the fourth year of Best Emails, I thank you for your contributions.

Best Emails only runs because you send me the good stuff.

I am blessed with such wonderful friends and family.

** Congratulations, Peter on three-years of creative ideas
which you have shared with your select group of
participants.

**We love ALL of your "Best Emails", but our favorites are those in which you've included "progress pictures" of your new house.

**Congrats on three years of keeping your website going!  Way to go...

**Gosh, it is going to be hard to vote on my favorites.  I really like the math quizzes and unusual stuff like illusions, etc.  But it is great seeing all the pics and articles of the family, your side and our side.   I just can't pin it down to one specific week.  Keep up the great work, Pete.

**A special segment for viewing was Magda's wedding in Poland.  Since that is our heritage (Mary's Mom's side of the family),  I found those pictures intriguing.   What a beautiful wedding!

**One that tickled my funny bone was the "male" and "female" instructions on withdrawing from a cash machine.  The differences in men and women can be frustrating but also humorous.

**Peter, my vote goes to the e-mail showing
the assembled chimney on the ground, your innovative
idea, which worked successfully, showing how it was
raised to the roof with a crane, saving construction
time, reducing possible hazards to personnel, reducing
cost, and achieving an optimal result which works well.

**We really can't vote on any of the best emails because we can't possibly remember them all .  But we do enjoy seeing them.  Especially the pictures of the house in progress and many of the other pictures.  Also the news from others whom we do not correspond with.  Keep up the good work and keep sending best e-mails.

Thanks for this baby picture of yourself Sunny.

Was this taken in your hometown China village that Mary and I visited with you 15 years ago?

Hi :

When I become depressed to be in this job,  I like to look at this photo.

It gives me the hope and strength to go on in my life.

I am on the far right dressed in Kimono with bare feet.

My twin-brother (Tom) is on my left dressed in the same Kimono.

It seems that I still remember - my parents wanted the twins to have shoes on, but we declined.

They forced us to try for few times, and later on they gave up.

Sunny

Happy 50th Manfred!

Jim,

I like this picture over Florida because you film a filmer.

Do you ever feel like doing this to someone?

Just watch this over and over ..

it makes you feel so much better ...

Sometimes I'm the one on the right, sometimes on the left.

Mopping up the first three years,

Pete

(I hope Best Emails will still be going strong

eleven years from now on the real Pi day. 31415.)
