Leap Year - Feb. 29, 2016
Our neighbor's house was on the front page of the Thursday town news site with this fallen branch.
While behind it, and outside our garage, our other neighbor's fence was also damaged by the wind.
My fence lost a big panel with a fallen branch too. Big chain saw job for me!
And on my way to work I saw this that a reporter later photographed.
I called the well driller company driving behind me by a few minutes to my Southbury job and advised a detour to avoid East Flat Hill Road.
I am glad I drove 4 hours from NJ Wednesday night just hours before this wind hit us.

Sue and Manfred are enjoying New Zealand:
Hi family
This country is so awesome. Words cannot describe the beauty.
We went to Hobbiton yesterday for a tour. It was magical.
Today drove from Auckland to Whitianga. Treacherous driving but landscape is
amazing. Drove around the coast from Auckland to Coromandel coast.
Glad we are not driving. It is so nice to just enjoy the ride and scenery.
Went to Rapaura Watergardens today and had a delightful lunch there. Have 18
on our tour: the six of us and 12 from UK. Fun group.
Will figure out how to forward a few pictures.
Love to all.
