We had a nice time in NYC this week.        View from our hotel room.

At the energy conference, it was very interesting to have the 20 some things lecturing to us 50 & 60 some things.

They said we needed to all be on Face book and tweet, etc.

I left while my colleague was harking back to the days when the phone would ring all night before the No call lists.

I do like FB for family, and this image from Laurie is from her page.

The hat is an acorn.

They say that some colleges are no longer assigning email addresses, which are so passé.

Perhaps I should change the name of this site from Best Emails to:
"Let's throw these face book images on your screen this week."

More ramblings:

I mentioned to the 20 year old lectors that a lady gave up FaceBook (not twitter, c'mon) for Lent,

and it made National News.

I gave up alcohol, and after 5 days I'm like, boy that red wine smells good.

At last nite's dance party, Bobby gave up alco too. Pat gave up chocolate.

Bob gave up breads, and Kim is giving up pounds or so she said.

Mary said: Don't tell people again that you will be binge drinking midnite Easter Sunday after our traditional party.

:->

But it will be a Happy Easter if I can make it that long.

Still not one cent for snow plowing this year. Pretty good.

What else?

I loved talking to Allie, and after an hour, I said: I have to return a cd to the library on my bike.

She said Well you have a basket right Grandpa?

Yes.

Just put the cell in it and turn on the speaker.

Minutes later: Allie, did you hear that pickup truck go by?

Yep. Sure did.

It sounds like you are riding on the handle bars Allie. Hold On!!!

PS Allie: Dave has invited you to visit his horses Esme and 11 month old Bentley,

the next time you are in town.

And where do you get these android tech ideas from? Greg??

No one is immune from Jimmy's FaceBook photoshop.

Though, I don't know why he made Raf punier than he actually is without his shirt on.

No one is immune I say again.

Pete
