February Eighth,

Two Thousand Ninth

Pete,

This is neat how you can zoom in and see the people's faces so clearly!  Technology is great, isn't it? Sue

This is a pretty neat photo of the inauguration.  It's actually 220 different photos digitally assembled together.  The neat thing is that you can zoom in pretty far - so you can see people's faces and tents set up on rooftops way in the background.  You can also see the music sheets in the orchestra and Clarence Thomas sleeping through Obama's speech.  Use the link below (it might take a while to load, but you should see the entire inauguration and have a zoom function on the left side of the window).  When you zoom in, give it a second and the photo will enhance.

Seems like it was a great party!

But maybe the message didn't get across as seen in the picture below.

Real or photo shop phony?  I asked.    Let's check Snopes.

But now we see that Snopes is run by a liberal husband and wife team

whose own credibility is questionable according to wikipedia!

Following on my graphic rat or mouse theme this week,

With all the sarcastic analysis of what happened to the economy,

and few solutions,

here is a decent (although lengthy) analysis in simple terms:

But there are some jobs out there.

Here, they are looking for an assistant crane operator:

We had a great time at Lou and Mary's watching the Super Bowl last week.

I had the second quarter won in the pool with one more play to go.

As Jim Harrison intercepted the football in his own end zone and began running up field,

I screamed for 10 seconds for someone on the Cardinals to stop him!

No such luck, as he lumbered into the end zone to change the 10-7 score that I had won.

The Steelers kicked the extra point, and I was amazed.

But when Lou asked Chris who the new winner was, Chris said Uncle Pete has 7 and 7 too!

Thanks for the ten bucks and the greatest defensive play in Super Bowl History

to the NFL defensive player of the year James Harrison.

Lou,

I know your men use the latest construction equipment on your jobs,

so here is the latest Nail Gun from DeWalt.

I understand you can build a deck or fence from quite a distance away now!

Meanwhile, in Kansas:

A picture from Super Bowl Sunday.

Rich looks good and he enjoyed his time over at our house for chili and part of the Super Bowl game.

Pete, some ice storm pictures that were taken in Kentucky.

Brian and Joanne have been out of power since January 27th.  They have no idea when their power will be restored.  They are staying with some friends and coworkers as even with our kerosene heater, the house is cold.  Won't they appreciate their home when they get back to normal???

You have never seen a clock like this before.

Check all of the categories.  Very informative.
