We had such a great trip south last week. It was nice to spend more time away from home in January, than here in the frigid weather!

Thanks Tom and Ann and Gianna and Bella for hosting us in Virginia.

What a great location for Tom and Ann's new waterfront house being built now.

We stopped at Monticello, and TJ looses points for never having invited Aaron Burr there, even though TJ would not be president without AB.

But the new welcome center is geothermal, and guides say they plan to heat Monti with it too, so TJ is partially redeemed!

Continuing in Virginia, we enjoyed seeing Virginia Tech, Katie's alma mater and subject of the "King of Sports" book about football.

Here are students heading to class.

The set for Kristen's show in Carolina. A five star review for Kristen and her 3 co-actors in that morning's paper, Brava Kristen!

A great time with Rich and Sherry, who then continued on to Cinc'y to see Kelly in her show.

Jack, who was with me the night I met Mary and for Mary and my first date in NC, three dozen years ago, his wife Beth.

Thanks for hosting us at your lovely home!

Us, Rich, Sherry, Kristen, Brett and Kristen's costar Tom.

Dinner at Copper Canyon in Maryland, and we enjoyed Capitol Steps. Thanks for hosting us Helena and Stuart!

One of the best vacations we had because we met up with so many friends and family!

Anita and Brad and boys

Jean and her grandsons Alex, Andrew and Avery.

Congratulations Dan for weight lifting 285 over your head!
