Dinner entertainment

The French restaurant Le Petit Chef (Little Chef), came up with an original way to entertain guests

while waiting for their order by using a projector on the ceiling, and the animation on the table.

There is a small chef who appears on your plate, and watch what he does.

We had a lovely dinner too - before Kristen's show with her, Tom, and our Goddaughter Elyse.

Before the show and dinner at the Kennedy Center.

Kristen's name appeared on the Cast Sign Board at the Eisenhower Theater.

Mary, Emily and Elyse turn to the usher who told me: "No pictures!"

After the show in the sudden snow storm, Kristen and two actress friends pause to sign autographs and then pose with Mary before we drove them home.

If I were a motorcycle rider, here it would be!

Mary and I were so sad to lose our good friend Ron this week.

He was an extraordinary Interior Designer.

I saw a movie with him and friends just days before his passing.

When I told him popcorn was only $2.00 he bought a bag like I did

We both finished by the end of previews for The Revenant.

Later burgers and beer with the guys.

When he was not at 8 am mass sitting near us as usual, Mary and I thought that was unusual.

He had passed away of a heart attack in his sleep.

My best memories of Ron include Italian dinner with him when other guys had to cancel movie night.

He told me about his wife in California making him a young widower.

Ron always enjoyed our Derby party.

Here he was before playing Kris Kringle in our library radio play Miracle on 34th Street in 2014.

Rest in Peace good friend Ron.

Since folks liked last week's picture of Grandpa mowing his lawn, here he is in about the same location with Grandma and Moi Moi. 1977

Two years later at Stormville Airport, is Grandpa's namesake Jim.

And one more from 1967, artist schoolmate John whose book In New Light we love,

with his younger brother Chris and us brothers.
