Best E-mails of the Week 1/16/05.

I guess you all saw that the Tsunami pictures from last week were fake.

Sorry bout that. I was suspicious, but fooled too.   01/09/05

But I'm not fooled by this one:

Pete,

Paul Harvey stated this a.m. on his radio show that after Randy Moss' "mooning" last Sunday,

that the league has big plans to fine him and that President Bush wants to name him (Randy)

as Ambassador to France!  Too funny!

"Ain't nothing but 10 grand. What's 10 grand, to me?" He then jokingly suggested he might perform a more vulgar celebration next time. - Randy Moss (on the NFL's $10,000 fine for an end zone celebration).

Thanks for these pictures Leon.   The chimneys you built for me are great!       Pete

Did you see that coming?

Fortunately, you will all remember that we erected the chimneys with a real crane,

not a wanna be crane.

Hi Pete,

I scanned the passport photo of Grandma & Grandpa into

Mom's computer and then separated Grandma out because

that is one of only 2 photos that I know of where she is smiling....

I took the photos I did and scanned them into my

computer - so here they are for you!

Pam

Pam,

We remember that she didn't smile in pictures,

but she was always in a good mood except at the end with her arthritis, right?

She called Joanne Joy Ann because of her love for my sister.

Thanks for archiving this photo for us all.

Pete,

I have some very exciting news: a new website featuring my hand-crafted
necklaces, is now live and ready for action.

Perfect for birthdays, Valentines Day or to treat yourself to something fun.

Check it out at:

www.e2designs.net

Each piece is completely one of a kind, which means that

no one else will have the same piece and once a necklace sells, it's gone.

Please pass this along to anyone else you think might be
interested.

Thanks,

Erin

OK Erin, I'll order one for Mary

since you loved her mother Florence's lemon bars so much when you visited us.

Dear Peter:

Last evening we had the first Second Wednesday of the New Year. We had about 11-12 people on a cold, slosh filled evening. We sat around the fireplace and enjoyed a lively conversation about current events, etc. We also discussed the president’s council of wanting to grow the Club by a greater participation of a volunteer corps in each of the towns…to work with the local CU alumni and enhance and enlarge the membership.

But, what was great….everyone there was still talking, with great fondness, of your wonderful presentation of the Aaron Burr/Alexander Hamilton history and duel in November. We drank a toast to you. We thank you again…for a wonderful evening.

And from the Club…a very happy, healthy, prosperous and promising New Year to you and your lovely wife.

Are you planning on attending the Michael Feiner event at The Field Club on January 28, 2005? It promises to be a great evening. We look forward to seeing you soon.

    All the best.

Incredible what they can do with

an eggshell and a laser beam.

Remember: people want other people to be just like them.
